Some meaningful quotes I want to share..

Here are some of my most favourite quotes I've kept over the years watching TV shows (specifically, One Tree Hill), reading novels (YES I DO READ!!) and so on. I want to share it with everyone, and at the same time I can also have a place to archive it for the future. Because when I read these, it will really help take my mind of things. =)

In no particular order..
But the bold ones are my more favourite ones.

1. Truth is still absolute. Believe that. Even when that truth is hard and cold, and more painful than you've ever imagined. And even when truth is more cruel than any lie.

2. There comes a time when every life goes off course. In this desperate moment you must choose your direction. Will you fight to stay on the path while others tell you who you are? Or will you label yourself? Will you be honored by your choice? Or will you embrace your new path? Each morning you choose to move forward or to simply give up.

3. You ever look a picture of yourself, and see a stranger in the background?. It makes you wonder how many strangers have pictures of you. How many moments of other peoples life have we been in. Were we a part of someone's life when their dream came true or were we there when their dream died. Did we keep trying to get in? As if we were somehow destined to be there or did the shot take us by surprise. Just think, you could be a big part of someone elses life, and not even know it.

4. Every song has an ending, but is that any reason not to enjoy the music?

5. Every once in a while people step up, they rise above themselves. Sometimes they surprise you, and sometimes they fall short. Life is funny sometimes, it can push pretty hard, but if you look close enough you find hope in the words of children, in the bars of a song and in the eyes of someone you love. And if you're lucky, and if you're the luckiest person on this entire planet, the person you love decides to love you back.

6. "Henry Wadsworth Longfellow wrote: 'All are architects of fate... living in these walls of time.'" "Henry Wadsworth Longfellow wrote: 'All are architects of fate... so look not mournfully into the past. It comes not back again.'"

7. It Is Better To Have Loved And Lost Than To Never Have Loved At All.

8. Lives better---money, popularity, fame---we ignore what truly matter--the simple things-- like friendship, family, love--the things we probably already had.

9. Oliver Wendell Holmes once said: Many people die with their music still in them. Too often it is because they are always getting ready to live. Before they know it, time runs out.

10. Perhaps we all give the best of our hearts uncritically to those who hardly think about us in return. - T.H. White

11. "You hide at home all the time, study like a good boy. When a golden opportunity comes your way, you don't want to admit it. You choose to believe you're just not that lucky."

12. Feels like, just when everything has fallen into place, something always comes along and changes everything.

13. People buy things, make friends, not for love. But just to be a little happier in their lifes.

14. That one moment, just before anything happened. Everything is perfect.

15. "Happiness doesn't come cheap. Hell if it did we would all be smiling."

16. Sometimes pain becomes such a huge part of your life that you expect it to always be there, because you can't remember a time in your life when it wasn't. But then one day you feel something else, something that feels wrong, only because it's so unfamiliar. And in that moment you realize you're happy.

17. At this moment, there are six billion, five hundred two million, eight hundred sixty seven thousand, one hundred and twenty people in the world. Give or take a few. And sometimes all you need is one. For better or for worse.

18. George Eliot once wrote: "There is no despair so absolute as that which comes with the first moments of our first great sorrow, when we have not yet known what it is to have suffered and be healed, to have despaired and recovered hope."

19. "There are two tragedies in life: one is to lose your heart’s desire. The other is to gain it". - George Bernard Shaw

20. "Do not look back and grieve over the past, for it is gone. And do not be troubled about the future, for it has yet to come. Live in the present, and make it so beautiful that it will be worth remembering." - Ida Scott Taylor

21. "Time takes it all, whether you want it to or not. Time takes it all, time bears it away. And in the end, there is only darkness. Sometimes we find others in that darkness, and sometime we lose them there again." - Stephen King

22. "What a frightening thing is the human, a mass of gages and dials and registers. And we can read only a few. And those perhaps not accurately." - John Steinbeck's The Winter Of Our Discontent

23. "Regret comes in all shapes and sizes. Some are small like when we do a bad thing for a good reason. Some are bigger like when we let down a friend. Some of us escape the pangs of regret by making the right choice. Some of us have little time for regret because we're looking forward to the future. Sometimes we have to fight to come to terms with the past and sometimes we bury our regret by promising to change our ways. But our biggest regrets are not for the things we did, but for the things we didn’t do, things we didn’t say that could save someone we cared about especially when we can see the dark storm that's headed their way"

24. Because it´s only when you´re tested that you truly discover who you are. And it´s only when you´re tested that you discover who you can be. The person that you want to be does exist, somewhere in the other side of hard work and faith, and belief and beyond the HEARTACHE and fear of what life has.

25. Nobody has ever measured, not even poets, how much the heart can hold. - Zelda Fitzgerald
