The best things in life are free..

Changed my blog Title and my main picture. Let me explain the title, "Life at 210 km/h...". This actually describe how is my life going through right now, and so does my head. I'm really living life in 210 km/h, I'm so busy not only with college life, but also with my free lance job. Lately, since college started, I've totally no time to "Slow down and smell the roses", college life is giving me tons of work, unstoppable examination and more and more assignments and research are on the way. And when finally the weekends come, my "work life" began. So ask me when is the last time I wake up late?? Well...I can't remember anymore...and it's sad....

First off... I would like to say...

DON'T BE LIKE HIM!! DON'T SMOKE!!

College life...

It's been 2 weeks since I last post. So how's life? In summary, not good. Joining MUFY program in Sunway College is probably the biggest mistake, or actually my biggest mistake was actually believing people who said MUFY is "DAMNNNN EASY"!! Yeah right, easy?? MUFY have at least 1 exam every week, if unlucky enough, can go up to 3 a week! And other courses have much less exam. MUFY have only ONE week of holiday throughout the whole programme, while other courses like CAT or CIMP have holidays up to a month, and more then once! Subjects like Math B in MUFY is so hard that when you skipped even one class, you'll be totally lost when you come back the next day! Could never possible think college life will be this bad. To make things worst, my Moral LAN subject has already started...

English subject has became so much more harder. The level of English in secondary school is practically nothing compared to college and University level. Now I've to write essays up to 800 words long in just less then 50 minutes!! Crazy!!That means I've to write at an average of at least 15 words a minute to keep up. And not to forget time to think about content too! I'm totally not enjoying my college life, I just can't wait to get it over with. At least I'm graduating in November, that's IF I pass...

Next..
On Sunday, after lunch, a few of the YF-ers decided to watch movie together, watched "She's the man", and is seriously a OMG!!! That's the CRAPPIEST movie I've EVER watched IN MY ENTIRE 17 AND A HALF YEAR ON THIS EARTH!!! It is seriously unbelievably LAME and STUPID. The whole show is practically full of bull$hit!! Can't believe I'm so stupid to waste RM10 on it. I really wonder how on earth any producer and director have the face to sell this kind of movie. DOWNLOAD (goodness sake PLEASE don't go to the cinema and waste RM10 to watch it) it and watch it and you'll understand what I mean. Especially the part where the girl score the winning goal just right after half time. YES! Shortly after half time, she kicked, the game ends and they won! ???????????????

At least after that my day became better. Was about to leave 1 Utama to ta kei at Netmaster, then we saw that there's a event happening right outside FCUK entrance. Checked it out and it was Hitz.Fm million ringgit thingie event, the finale. Where this dood has to wear a boxing glove, and take as much money as possible from a pool of money which contains 1 million ringgit notes and put it in a car in 97 seconds! All the Hitz.fm crew were there, JJ and Rudy (who were DJing and broadcasting life from there), Jason Lo, Serena C and alot more. Surprisingly for such a reasonably small event, the amount of equipment used is mind boggling. Easily as much as 6 sets of Shure SLX wireless Microphone, 2 sets of Sennheiser EW100G Wireless Microphone, about 4 Shure wireless monitors with Shure E2C ear phones, and not less then 6 Nexo PS15 as near field MONITORS! AMAZING! I'm not sure what speaker they used for FOH, haven't seen before, but the sound quality is sure good. All this powered by the infamous Camco Vortex 323 amp with it's respective speaker controllers. Mixing was handled by a 32 channel Midas Heritage 3200 mixer and also another Behringer 24 channel Eurodesk to mix between the instrument, CD and Hit.fm life broadcast. Pretty amazing stuff. The coolest thing was seeing JJ and Rudy holding wireless microphone and with ear phones stuck in their ear and walking around talking to themselves. They're actually still DJ-ing life there and then for the rest of M'sia who's tuned into Hitz.fm from their radio...only once in awhile the sound engineer would route what they are saying back to that same place. Here are some pics..

JJ and Rudy said (this is for the life broadcast to the radio) "There's at least 5000 people right here, seriously!!" Yeahh righttt...

Sound Engineers and some of the hitz.fm crew..

Check out the Shure UHF recievers on the stage!! And the snake cable reel on the left!! And the Hartke quad 10" bass amp on the right on stage!! Sweet stuff!!

Camco..

JJ and Rudy swimming in RM1 million notes..

It was an interesting event, throughout the whole thing I only paid attention to the equipments and sound engineers in action, didn't really bother about that guy who was in the final. But I know he "only" manage to get RM46.8k out of RM1 million!!

So anyway before I finish my blog, just want to share this, again, gotten from One Tree Hill, and is really touching!!

"Life is funny sometimes, can push pretty hard. Like when you fall in love with someone and they forget to love you back. Like when your best friend and your boyfriend/girlfriend leave you alone. Like when you pull the trigger and light the flame and can never take it back. If you look close enough, you'll find hope. And the words of children, and the bars of the song, and in the eye of someone you love, and if you're lucky, I mean if you're the luckiest person on this entire planet, the person you love decides to love you back...
