Thoughts from One Tree Hill

For those who know me, I'm a big fan of the tv series One Tree Hill. The reason why I like the show so much is, it actually teaches you how to be a teenager in one way or another. You learn from the mistakes that those people make in the show as a teenager, you also learn about life, about love, about friends, and about loving one another, or even someone who is less then "normal". This show teaches you everything. And every episode there will also be quote from someone famous, or one of the character in the show will say something meaningful. And sometimes it really strikes you..

The newest episode, Season 3, episode 15, at the ending, Whitey said this:
"It's been 50 years, 50 long years since i've done this. Looking back on what i've said all those years ago, all the hopes and dreams I have, I've came to the conclusion that if , having things turn out the way you wanted them to, thats a measure of a successful life, then some would say that i'm a failure. The important thing is, not to be bitter of life's disappoinment. Learn to let go of the past. I recognised that everyday won't be sunny, but when you find yourself lost in the darkness of despair. Remember, is only in the black of night you can see the stars. And no stars lead you back home. So don't be afraid to make mistakes, to stumble and fall, cause most of the time the greatest rewards comes from doing the things that scare you the most. Maybe you won't get everything you wish for, maybe you'll get more then you ever could've imagined, who know's where life will take you, the road is long, and in the end, the journey is the destination."

I find what he said to be very meaningful and practical, make us think twice about life...

Anyway for all of my One Tree Hill fan friends out there, you can download the album "Friends with benefit" from torrents (Yes is a real album!!), here are a few nice songs that is in the album and also featured on this episode:
